The 15" version gets a great write-up so even though I couldn't find one to look at before ordering, I thought the 20" version would be the fellow for me, especially at end-of-line web prices. What a disappointment though - even with a high quality Sky digital feed, the LC-20S1E offers a soft, fuzzy image, an over-ripe colour palette and little or no detail in the darker areas of the picture. There's slight general picture noise, no sense of depth and an overall lack of edge definition which seriously impairs viewing pleasure. And this is after an hour of repeatedly tweaking the menu controls. The sound isn't too bad, though its scant consolation. I've looked at dozens of LCD sets in TV shops with low quality, multi-line Sky feeds and this ranks among the poorest images I've seen. Even the lowliest 20" CRT blows this thing away in terms of picture quality. Frankly I think someone at Sharp is having a laugh. Thank goodness for the 7 day rule - this TV is going straight back.

Disappointed with the picture quality. Also fault with set after just 2 months - kept switching itself off. If buying for a bedroom would recommend a smaller screen size.
