This TV is brilliant for the one maybe two years, but when the picture goes shadowy followed by an onscreen 'update' prompt which wipes every channel and you can't get them back. AVOID!!! I am writing to Samsung to quote the 'The Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended' in the hope they fix it for free. Shelling out £700 only for it to break after 2 years it not acceptable for a tv. I'm sticking with Sony after this.

Has TV for two years, screen has now delaminated on RH side, resulting in a shadow 2" wide. read elsewhere the heat of the backlight does this. This also happened on a 40" samsung of someone else i know.

i'm using this tv for 2,5 years and i am very satisfied. never have problem, high quality of picture, qood menu with many functions, consumption about 170 W, i am working in branch of DVD, BD and 3D tv business, but i'm not interesting about changing this tv. compare with current models is still one of top.

tv only 15 months old lcd panel has gone tv new cost 925 pounds repair cost 836 pounds
