Reviewed by Mr M. Geedham on 25/09/2009 Nice looking tv but as mr Needham so rightly put it, the sound quality is sadly lacking compared to the rest of the tv. Also lacking is any form of manners from the knob calling himself Mr.Ganstr. Pitty people manage to spoil reviews like this. To sum the TV up it's a good buy for around £300 but would suit the likes of this prole below. Rating:
Reviewed by Mr. Ganstr on 13/01/2009 Don't listen to the other fool. My brother has this tv and it is superb. The picture quality is excellent - colours are bright and vivid, motion is handled smoothly, without any sign of judder. Blu-ray looks stunning, as do high-def games. Picture quality with Freeview is obviously not as good but that is because Freeview is a poor quality source and is no fault of the tv. Sound quality is very reasonable too, although no tv's built-in speakers will ever rival a proper hi-fi or surround sound setup. The volume goes up in quite small increments like Mr. Needham says, but it does not then 'suddenly kick in'. Mr. Needham is obviously an old man with withered hands who can't control his tv. Don't listen to him or you could miss out on a true bargain; a quality 32" tv at a low price. Rating:
Reviewed by Mr G. Needham on 14/12/2008 I had a high expectation of this TV and subsequently found it to a bit of a let down. It looked superb out of the box thanks to the piano black which was, in fairness, a very good overall standard of finish. Having set it up in my conservatory however, I found the picture to be "OK" at best but the sound was very poor. There was a noticable 'feedback' from high notes via channels such as "SKY Classics" when high notes were hit (at modest volume levels) from both instruments and vocals. Coupled to this, the volume hardly seemed to go up in increments as the '+' button was depressed until it suddenly seemed to kick in and then became very loud. After just 3 months I have replaced it with a Panasonic LCD which is a superior product having already got a large Panasonic Plasma in the lounge and been delighted with it. Ultimately, this particular Samsung Model is precisely what it is....a cheap 32" LCD TV. Rating:
