Reviewed by Sen on 26/02/2009 I bought this TV a couple of days ago, the instructions for the TV are very jumbled and hard to find what your looking for in there.. without reading the whole page. The remote is amazingly long, I have to use both hands when navigating through the channels and looking at the channel info. However im very pleased with it, pic quality nor bad neither is the sound overall i would give it a 4/5! It could be a little better. Rating:
Reviewed by ale on 12/10/2008 I bought this TV as a replacent for my old 19" (Wharfedale L1911W-A) which I used mainly for playing my xbox 360. I used an HDMI cable to connect the xbox to the TV and set it to 720p. Whereas the Wharfedale had a stunning picture quality, the Samsung was terrible! The aliasing (jaggies) were very prominent. However, the Samsung TV has a PC-in socket on the back, so i connected the xbox by a VGA cable and the screen quality was improved. I have a very weak freeview signal so i need to use a signal booster to get all the freeview channels. The picture is not great, there's a lot of artifacting which i didn't have with my old TV in exactly the same place with the same boosted signal. I've read a lot of good reviews about the Samsung LE19R86BD, however i'm a little dissapointed with it. Rating:
