Reviewed by wesley reid on 01/09/2007 Startd looking for a hd tv to suit my needs about a year ago. Then early Nov 06 i saw 42pf9831d and bought it in Jan o7. The picture is superb, vibrant and clear, sound is so crystal clear(sometiomes i still reach for my mobile) when sound is coming from tv. The full ambilight is stunning(has to be fully in a dark room to see it in its full grace)but works well in any darkened space. My true love is its double turner which allows me to watch say sky sports, while partner is watching bbc1-ch5. It looks like a regal tv withits white backboard(ambilight) cannot truely find any fault with this tv, now you can find and buy on the web for £1200-£1500. Best buy i can say for sure(right into my hd and gadgets) so many connections for all types of inputs, memory card(plug straight into side of tv) Rating:
Reviewed by S Smith on 25/07/2006 have been waiting for the 32inch version of this to come out, as i dont have a big enough room for this set, but have seen it in comet and what a picture. Picture is really crisp showing upscaled dvd footage, was not rigged upto analogue so cannot give you my opion on that. and the sound was not on as running through dvd sound system. but the preview of fast and furious was stunning the colours and the blacks for a lcd was as good as the plasmas in there, if you have the money and got the room take a look its well worth it. there was no ghosting which is usually a big problem Rating:
