Reviewed by Greg Kingston on 01/06/2006 I bought this LCD panel a couple of months before Christmas. Had done a lot of research via magazines and web sites before taking the plunge, and this was not one I'd looked at as it had only just come out. I went back and read the reviews of the TX-32LXD500 (the same model with the addition of the memory card slot - something I was never going to use) All the write ups were very impressive, and I cannot add a lot to that description.
The TV is very easy to use, menu's accessed easily and user friendly. Sound is adequate, but I rarely use the TV's speakers as it's hooked up to my amp.
Picture quality is fantastic with no lag from any media, satellite TV, DVD or PS2. I saw this unit hooked up to a High Def source, and it blew me away, so roll on Sky HD.
A highly recommended buy, and for the money, it's among the best priced and best equipped LCD's on the morket. Rating:
Reviewed by JAMES H SPROTT on 24/04/2006 this tv has a nice sharp crisp picture and has a lovely design with 3 scarts which is great for todays dvds etc.the only reason i did not give it five stars is the plastic tacky remote control. Rating:
Reviewed by Abdul on 24/03/2006 I bought this TV in Feb 2006 and connected to my Digital Receiver using
component cable. Wow what a picture? I have never seen such a clear image before. The deep black supports crisp clear bright images. Sound is also very good.
BUT picture quality deteriorated suddenly. After complaining they have agreed to replace the TV. Rating:
Reviewed by john parish on 04/02/2006 Have had the Panny for about a month now and it seems to be getting better, like a car running in! The picture on Sky is excellent and once you
have sussed out the settings very impresive.Sound is certainly satisfactory but I may invest in a cinema sound system but I hate all those cables! The TV looks fantastic, very modern and sleek probably the best of all current LCDs on the market.Im sure better TVs will keep on coming but I decided to take the plunge at Christmas when they dropped
under a Thousand Pounds, still a lot of money but has made our lounge seem a lot bigger as they slot in so easily.Looking forward to HD and lets hope SKY gets loads of competition to keep the price down.Us English customers always seem to get ripped off!!! Rating:
