Reviewed by BGF on 07/09/2009 I totally agree with this statement ok display for external sources, but the freeview system is lousy. Picture freezes frequently and recorded programs are often incomplete. Infact, the thing often misses recordings completely. If you buy this product you will probably be disappointed. I most certainly am. I got the first set i bought replaced, that had this problem, and then got the same problem again... on the second set. LG when i called them said that it probably needs a software update... i gt the idea i being palmed off. Rating:
Reviewed by LG lover on 15/01/2009 Ive had this TV for just over a year and its been excellent and reliable The picture quality and sound is very good and the programmes recorded on the hard drive cannot be distinguished from live broadcasts The comment from another reviewer about freeview freezing could be due to poor signal strength rather than being the TV's fault and the other problem mentioned about failing to record could be due to not setting the TV input button back to DTV after switching to analogue TV or AV 1,2,3, to use Playstations or Wii,s This Ive found was the "problem when I once failed to capture a programme onto the hard drive It has to be set to DTV to record off Freeview Anyway highly recommended Rating:
