I am most disapointed in the performance of this TV as the other reviews express I have had the same problems with picture freezing for more than a minute, happens when changing channels as well as when changing to recorded progams, not acceptable. Why would anyone want the Channel to change to a recording schedule while in the middlle of watching a program. I am having to use the TV through my Humax PVR to get uninterrupted viewing. I am going to try for a refund. I bought my TV from BEYOND TELEVISION..they were No Help at all they just kept passing the buck. Rubbish Customer Care they will never get any of my money again.

Bought this model in November 20907 and am convinced that the scheduled recording interupting your current viewing is a design fault, despite LG's denial. Faults experienced every few days, despite the set having been returned for supposed repair. Have to retune channels about once a month, sound but no picture at start-up, frequent freezing and locking up requiring switching off and one again. After much correspondence with LG, am getting a full refund.

I've had this telly for about three months now, and am very satisfied with it. I got it from DigitalDirect for £587. I haven't had the problems the other reviewers mention (occasionally the picture will freeze, but only for a second). The freeview/PVR menu is easy on the eye and well designed, and pretty much does what is says on the box, with the benefit of being easy to navigate. One gripe is that if you hit the 'record' button by mistake, you can't cancel it: you just have to let the recording go ahead, and wipe it once it's over. The picture is impressive from the built in freeview tuner, good definition in SD, motion is handled well, and blacks look deep and real. Sound is more than adequate, clear and unfussed.

The picture regularly freezes, control does not respond, have to switch of and on again before in can work. Don't seem to be much advice on how to fix this problem its clare from all the review i read its a design fault. I am disappointed since i spend alot for this tv 8 months ago.

What a big disappointment. Despite me having excellent Freeview reception and never missing a recording with my previous HDD, this tv misses 50% of recordings. It switches channels to record a scheduled recording - why would I want to switch, the whole reason for recording a programme is because I'm watching something else. This is most frustrating when you're watching a recording and a scheduled recording starts because it switches and then you have to start your previous viewing from the start. The picture regularly freezes. The sound output options are also poor. I connected the scart to my stereo which is fine for live tv but there's no sound to the scart output when playing back a recording, LG told me it's a feature of the set. Feature? More like design fault. The only other audio out option is digital audio which is probably no good for the majority of people. It's a big disappointment.
