Very similar experience to Gill only ours took a little longer to deteriorate. I shall be pressing for an exchange TV when the service eg comes tomorrow

Got this as an online offer from John Lewis. Picture disintegrated after one week and remote stopped working. Member of staff at John Lewis over heard saying this model was 'rubbish' on the day we asked for an exchange. When challenged he was sorry we heard him say it but it was his opinion. Needless to say we are now getting an LG 37" and hope it will be an improvement on this poor model which is no longer sold by John Lewis.
