The 'lag' on fast moving objects was worse than expected, but possibly similarb to competitve products. However, it developed a major fault after 7 months of light use, was repaired , and lasted another 2 weeks before deveoping the same fault. When I complained to Hitachi I was asked by an insolent man ' what do you want me to do about it?' I got my money back and will never buy from Hitachi again

Superb value for money. I Paid £300 for this TV last over the weekend. In my opinion it shows a far cleary (less blocky) picture than on the 32 inch samsung which i have watched, which cost £800+ and supposedly has a contrast ratio of 5000:1. In my opinion it has excellent menus and a wide range of inputs. I also used it as a monitor for my PC and the picture was exceptional. If you want value for money you wont beat this TV.
