I must agree, rubbish sound!!! Returned the set after just a week.

Put this system in. First it puts out no more than about 10 watts tops. The hdmi ports will pass HD through only 1 input the other 2 are for 480 i only. This means the unit will not switch between HD source. The sound is rubbish. The speakers weight in at a wopping 1 pound each with stands!! Do not buy this product!! The speaker wire is a thin as a human hair with color conectors on each so you have to cut them to change to a better wire.
