Reviewed by Duncan on 25/06/2007 Good points: > Small and silver > Easy to set up Bad points: > Poor sound quality > Only 1 auxiliary input > Surround sound only possible with DVDs > Slow DVD player I have no idea what system WhatHifi were listening to when they gave this 5 stars. It's cheap rubbish and I can't think why I bought it without listening first. Rating:
Reviewed by Rimi on 18/03/2007 One of best Home Cinema System. Lovely sound and perfect performance, exelent connectivity. Rating:
Reviewed by alan beales on 21/08/2006 If you have any interest in sound quality for even a small home cinema, do not go anywhere near this system ! I purchased a 50" Pioneer plasma ( excellent ! )and supposed that a sound system from the same manufacturer would do it justice but it does not even match the old Toshiba cathode ray tube tv surround that I gave up to acquire a larger screen, etc.. The rear speakers only operate from the DVD whereas the Tosh. picked up any transmission or source that had rear sound automatically. Even worse, I now find out that the Pioneer will not deliver rear sound from HDTV ! I have spoken to Pioneer but they are not in the slightest interested. My advice if you want HDMI connectivity, etc. is to look at Sony and perhaps Panasonic who have a new system on the way. If you would like an almost new 353 , make me an offer I can't refuse.
