Reviewed by John Manners on 26-09-2004 The Panasonic SCDT300 is great, I had taken a fair bit of time investing which system to buy and am very pleased with my decision. Setting up took around 2 hours from start to finish and the supplied manual is fairly comprehensive and straightforward to read. The sound it delivers is very clear and loud! and in a medium sized room such as my living room it is perfect, although I haven't thought of taking it to it's max yet. The speakers are very good and the general styling is pleasing. The picture quality is great and I have found myself watching two or more DVD's a night, which isn't helping me get up in the morning. My only small grumble would be that the receiver display is a little small in regular mode, although you can run in a large font size. If you have a smallish budget and are looking for a really excellent cinema experience I would recommend putting this on your list. Rating:
