Reviewed by martin on 14/10/2008 i agree with some points on the romote its rubbish my wife hit me with mine carrying on and it broke none of it works and i had to order a new one and it was 35 quid i have it in ma room its ok for watching dvds thats bout it Rating:
Reviewed by Caroline on 31/07/2008 Had mine 2 years (the plasma that it came with has just blown up !). Love the sound, but the remote has a mind of its own and works only occasionally. Hate the way the mode works as you have to wait for system to either start playing disc - or work out there isn't one in it before moving on). Freeview channels regular get stuck and have to be reloaded (also happens when turned off or put on standby so I leave it on all the time so that I don't have to rely on the remote working to reload again). Hoping it's going to work with the replacement tv that I now have to buy...... Rating:
Reviewed by richard howard on 31/07/2008 you all odviously have faulty players becasuemine is fine remote is spot on and the sound is great this part is for david from fort it will only come out of the left and right and sub speakers unless u go into the sound options and then choose matrix this will allow say a sky box or 2 channel source to come out of all the speakers and of course a dvd will use all the speakers anyway bt u must have matrix selected and the sound isent rubbish either try using the speakers volumes and turn the bass one up a bit thats whats its there for Rating:
Reviewed by richard on 30/06/2008 all stop moaning there htdk systems are brilliant and as for the sound being rubbish i think u had better take anouther listen try spider man 3 brilliant belive Rating:
Reviewed by shaun on 14/01/2008 i agree with all the bad reveiws, i brought a tv and this along with a video came free with it. i can see why they were happy for me to have it. remote is useless and you have to press the buttons really hard for it to work! yes sound is rubbish! you can not directly go to what input you want but instead have to flick through freeveiw then to tuner then to dvd were it will then start playing a dvd even though you want to go to the next option wich is scart! a very badly designed button lay out on the remote and onscreen display works when it wants to! i was not expecting it to be great as tv was only brought as a stop gap, and will be buying hdtv and a quality home cinema set up. to sum it up i wouldent buy one if i had the choice, i would buy a better make with out as many features Rating:
Reviewed by richard on 03/06/2007 god i dont know whats wrong with all your 185s mine is perfect remote is spot on maybe they have upgrade the internal stuff but its brill and as for the person that says the sound is rubbish try a dts movie specticular sound mate Rating:
Reviewed by Ed Hill on 03/01/2007 DO NOT BUY THIS putting it simply, waste of money, useless remote control, cheep software that was faulty from the start, crashes often, now refuses to work at all. Too big to fit under TV, speakers produce tiny empty sound, sub-woofer doesnt make any sound at all, user-unfrienly controls, dvd mode setting waits until dvd loads before you can choose another setting, 1 of which emits an ear-piercing screach. Also theres no off button, so has to be permanently on standby using power and getting warm; if you switch of at mains you have to re-tune it, often needs switching off at mains when it crashes. Will not buy from Hitatchi in future. Rating:
Reviewed by G Reece on 16/12/2006 Truly the best piece of hardware I've ever set eyes upon, I would give my life for this. Rating:
Reviewed by David fort on 14/12/2006 What do you expect from something this cheap. I brought one for the bedroom upstairs bu when i connected it up i got very confused on how i was to work this hunk of junk! the remote control is rubbish press a button that you want and does something else! sound is not good either. And when i did manage to work which which took me hours, the sound only came out of two speakers. the right, left and subwoofer. A complete waste of money! Rating:
Reviewed by Withnail on 27/05/2006 I didn't think that anything could be so poorly made, it is the worst piece of hardware I have ever bought, nothing works. Rating:
Reviewed by DDA on 30/04/2006 Yep, I agree with previous reviewer! This product is absolute rubbish. I have had 2 in the past year and now argos have agreed to just give me my money back. Drives you absolutely poty to use, crashes constantly, remote
control has a mind of its own whenever it does decide to do something. It should be a criminal offense to retail this product!!! Rating:
Reviewed by A Meyer on 26/01/2006 This product is absolute rubbish. I have had 2 in 1 year. (Replaced by manufacturer). The remote control doesn't work, and the software seems to be very buggy. It is a horrible device and makes me extremely frustrated when using (or trying to) it. Rating:
