Reviewed by Tom on 20/09/2007 just bought this second hand for £100. its a wicked system. im going to crank it up tomorrow. are you seriously joking lee. i know you will probably never read this but you must be an audio idiot. what good hi fi's display the volume in integers????? all the good ones display in decibels. also what are you chatting about when you say that when the volume is turned up the db's go down. this is the stupidest thing ive ever heard. the db's are minus. so when you turn it up it goes from say -80db's to 0 db's then up from there to + numbers. by the way 500 quid isnt a lot of money. get a thx system or bowers and wilkins system then you will know the full meaning of "a lot of money". you will be lucky to get a speaker for £500. the B&W nautilous speakers reatail at £10,000. they are just the speakers. As alex mentioned, all cd changers are loud. Rating:
Reviewed by Alexander Mclaughlan on 21/06/2007 List price £449, bought from Great Universal for £264 in the sale.Fantastic sound quality, looks great, top quality build, CD changer a bit noisy but what changers are not, lets face it it`s not the changer we are listening to ,it`s the music and that can`t be faulted & for the list price tag of £449 it comes with all the features you could ask for, it sounds as good as my mates Denon system which he paid nearly £1500 for, he is as sick as a parrot now,GOOD QUALITY, FANTASTIC SOUND, A GOOD BUY EVEN AT THE LIST PRICE, I have no problems reccommending this equipment to anyone, go to your dealer and try it, you will not be dissapointed. Reviewed by Lee on 23/04/2007 OK, where to start with this disaster of a Stereo... £499.99 is a lot of money. and for that you would expect a HI-FI to make cups of coffee, and cut the grass. but im sorry to say, this stereo is no way worth £500. And let me tell you why, The DVD player draws take forever to eject, and it is loud and clunky when changing CD/DVD. it don't play D.I.V.X video's, The Volume is in decibels, But when turned up the DB goes down, I don't understand the meaning of that... The DB goes down but is gets louder??? don't get me wrong this is a good HI-FI, but its just not worth £500, When playing music, it sounds Unreal. the sound is brill. but i have heard the same quality for less... Sorry You guys that have this HI-FI and love it, I just think its a bit of a rip off... Rating:
