Reviewed by Bignate63 on 10/03/2010 I have had this system for about 5 or 6 years now and when I first bought it I thought it was just the greatest stereo. I was almost right too. This stereo was way more than I expected until last year when the sub finally blew out. I found out why too, some dumb ass wired the sub in backwards meaning neg wire to pos wire etc... Well when I thought about it I was a little depressed at having to order one from Panasonic until I decided to look into car audio subs. I went out to Walmart and got a cheap Dual brand sub for $30 with a sub box. When I hooked it up the sub put out 3 to 4 times the bass of the stock sub. I know its a cheap sub so no comments please. Anyway it would be a great investment to ditch the old sub and invest into car audio subs for a great improvement in sound quality. I will soon change out the dual sub for a much better Pioneer 800 watt sub, 250 watt rms. Hopefully it will be even better. I hope this was helpful. Rating:
Reviewed by stevie.C on 15/12/2009 I have owned this unit for 6 yrs!. I have tried to kill it...YOU CAN'T! It has 5 internally crossed over camplifiers. My model has a total of 420 watts! This means.... the speakers cannot be overdriven by the wrong frequencies...and boy it is loud...with thunderous Bass. I use it for "STEREO" home theater... it kills my brothers $2000 Pioneer Bookshelf Home theater system. Bang for the buck... INCREDIBLE value. I would recommend it to anyone! :) Rating:
