I can't say that this was the easiest device to get used to, but all electronic "gadgets" seem to be going the same way these days. Having mastered it, I can now use it without too much difficulty and it works well. The Freeview tuner works well and has saved us from needing a separate box, which is a blessing. I do find that the remote control is quite fiddly to use, however, and still find myself referring to the instructions, which I keep by the sofa in case. Why can't modern recorders be as simple as my old VHS machine?
