I BOUGHT THIS ITEM FROM ARGOS FOR £195 LAST WEEK. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I READ THE OTHER PEOPLE'S REVIEW ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. I RATE IT 4 OUT OF 5. IT IS REALY HIGH QUALITY STAFF. I HAD ONLY ONE THING IS STRANGE THAT IS THE KNOCKING SOUND WHEN YOU PUT ON FROM STAND BY OTHERWISE IT IS JUST PERFECT.

Terrible piece of kit. Puts out horrendous amount of RF noise which interferes with every other electrical device in the room - TV loses half the available DVB channels as the noise masks the RF signal, the device itself only oicks up half the freeview channels available on the TV, presumably the noise is interfering with its own reception. Can't listen to DAB or FM radio because of signal loss, it even interfered with mobile broadband. The infernal machine is sitting in its box waiting to go back to TESCO first thing tomorrow. My only recommendation is don't even think about getting one of these infernal machines

I bought one of these from TESCO. I was very dissapionted that there was signifcant noise on my TV reception when the dvd recorder was on standby. This was noise increased when the recorder was recording a program. This spioled my viewing of Sky programs.

Got this model from Tesco seemed ok at first used the HDD part mainly then when i went to play a DVD it just went dead tried changing the fuse alas to no avail luckily it was just over the 28 day refund so i got a full refund.I got the impression from the electical staff that this was happening quite frequently I really would not recommend this model at all.
