This player was delivered from SVP.co.uk .. an excellent value for money offer from them. The DVD recorder is superb, and gives me excellent quality on XP mode recording. The VHS player has no problem with playback of good quality tapes. .. some tracking difficulty on older tapes. BAD point ... no multi-region hack yet .. unless someone out there has one? My entire DVD collection of 70 or so USA DVDs is presently unplayable. .... Originally bought to playback a broadcaster supplied VHS tape .. this is nearly as good as my all time favourite Ferguson VHS deck! Component output from the DVD player as well as S-Video and separate stereo audio, and a digital serial output too. The VHS deck comes out of one of the SCART sockets .. the other one links to my SKY digibox for input. Great value for money.
