I've always experienced a few problems with the Samsung HR720. The worst is that the last chapter of anything written to DVD-R is lost. I have to record a couple of minutes beyond the programme that I want in order to get the whole problem. A second problem is that anything I write out DVD-RAM, which I then copy back to teh hard drive cannot then be copied to DVD-R. It just refuses. Occasionally it also freezes so I have to pull out the power cable. On one occaison i was in teh middle of a delete and this corrupted the title names of the recordings on the hard drive. Does anyone know how to get these fixed.

The manual is ok, if all is well, but the fault finding if things go wrong is very poor, I am on my second faulty one. This time it powers up and continualy tryes to load imaginary DVDs :(
