The Panasonic DMR-EX75EB-S is identical to the Panasonic DMR-EX85EB-S except that the EX75 has a 160 Gbyte disk and the EX85 has a 250 Gbyte disk. That's the only difference, apart from the price tag! Both are truly outstanding DVD recorders and are thoroughly recommended. The DMR-EX75 has now been superseded by the DMR-EX77EB-S which offers full 1080p (full HD) upscaling for an even sharper picture.

This is a superb unit and has everything you could want. Reasonably easy to use and good looking with it. Only issue (small though it is) is that there is no open/close for DVD tray on remote but hey, you've got to get up to put DVD in anyway so what the hell
