Reviewed by Mart on 18/03/2010This is the worst dvd recorder i have had to use unless i'm doing something wrong you cannot erase a whole disc if several programmes have been recorded you have to do it title by title very poor menus set up only thing going for this recorder is price nothing else Rating:   Reviewed by holton on 27/11/2009 i have had lg dvd recorders for a few years now and i am upscaling if this product is as good as all the other lg recorders i will be most pleased who want to pay for a box that looks as thought it came from mars i would sooner have one of thieses and know that it will not let me down than all the fancy looking boxes in the world Rating: Reviewed by Jason on 27/05/2009 Superb product. Starts recording instantly. Disks it records play on everything else. No problems at all. It even plays MP3s and AVI movies from a USB stick. It does have automatic chapter insert and you can select the interval e.g. 10mins, 15mins etc. Rating: Reviewed by ptolemy on 25/03/2009 whilst this unit may look sleek and appear to have the usual features associated with a modern DVD recorder, it must be presumed that the designers had little or no idea of the needs and requirements of modern day home recorders. The logical conclussion is that they merely copied the features available on their contemporary rivals with no real appreciation of their signifocance. This explains why the crucial features taken for granted by most end usuers may be cumbersome at best and completely absent at worst. The most blatant of these is the automatic chapter insert, crucial for swift navigation, is not available for general recording. Believe me this is more infuriating than you can possibly imagine and therefore I would strongly recommend that you steer well clear of this model at all cost, you will regret it otherwise, I DID !!!
