Disappointed with LG attitude to selling goods that should not be on the shelf. Within 4 weeks not working machine exchanged. 8 weeks machine not working again only help from LG we can repair it. Why would you repair a new machine? Surely you should not be selling goods if poor quality. Help desk useless just advised to write in why should I for brand new goods!!

Please note... anyone complaining of poor washed out tuner pictures... go into settings menu.. and you can change the saturation/hue/contrast/brightness this will give you a great picture.....

For its low price this dvd recorder could have been a good product except for some serious bug or drawback: -Often recorded audio and video go out of synch. Not clear when it exactly happens, but it seems related to the internal aerial decoder too sensible to signal faults or noise. -Lack of any RGB feature -Remote not really intuitive (to confirm or exit requires differents buttons depending on the menu you are in)

It's TV tuner gives horribly washed-out pictures (and hence washed-out recordings!). Even worse, though, is the fact that on every recording, the sound is out of sync with the picture by as much as half a second!! I've contacted LG and all I've had is the usual 'oooh, this has NEVER happened before!' nonsense.
