piece of junk. don't buy it. i'm living in russia and it plays region 5 (russia) and region 1 (canada/usa) but not region 2 (europe) which is where i buy most of my discs. other brands here in russia will play region 2 including a cheap no name brand i had for three years before it broke down. i thought a sony would be better but it's not and i wish i had bought a philips or other brand. i hate sony now. i won't buy anything from them again and i've had two vaios, four high end digital camcorders, microphones, video walkman for editing ($4000), professional video monitor and other audio and video gear. i won't buy another sony product ever again. sony = crippleware don't buy it.

Good low cost works well for my kids, one downside cannot find hack to change regions or make multi region anyone out there that can help would be appreciated.
