Good price good quality. No multi region although it seems to play Sony region one discs without a problem. Has no problem with camcorder discs either.Ideal for a kids first player.

Excellent buy; a Sony at this sort of price (I paid £39.99) with built-in Dolby Digital decoding and really crisp pictures. I bought it to replace my 2 year old Grundig personal DVD player, which cost over £200 and was being used as the house player but which recently started skipping scenes. I couldn't believe the Sony's quality! Boy, am I a happy bunny.

i bought this dvd player a few days ago hoping that it would play recordable dvd films i had downloaded from the interenet yet every make of blank discs i have used so far do not work. theses include verbatin , tdk, imation a.d phillips i have used both + and - formats but still nothing.
so be warned.
