It says "Plays it all" but it wouldn't play my "Dark Side Of THe Moon" DVD. My old and slightly damaged Goodmans had no problems with it. Then there were the copies of my other DVD's, where the sound was choppy and the picture occassionally flicked, enough to be annoying. So I followed the manual's advice and went to the Support page on Philips' website to gain a software download, but there were no downloads there at all. I contacted Philips Customer support about all this by email, but received the usual sloppy reply blaming the scart lead. The lead works perfectly on the old Goodmans. When I complained about the way I'd been treated I received a reply assuring all Philips units are quality checked and that I should speak to my dealer (Tesco??) about getting it repaired. Instead I went and got a replacement. Same problems. Hopeless.
