My parents got one of these free from MBNA when they got a credit card. The first one didn't work at all - kept saying 'no disc'. My mother sent it back and a new one arrived but this displayed the same problem. The third one arrived and worked for a couple of months but then it froze half way through a movie and then refused to recognise any other discs including the one it had been happily playing up til this point. This model is useless. Avoid like the black death at all costs....

My model was four months old when it started freezing during films and refusing to respond to any button presses, even after being unplugged. After a few crashes like this it has now conked out completely, refusing to recognise any disc that is put in it. What a load of rubbish :(

Got one of these from new and it was nothing but trouble!! Remote hardly works or responds to commands, recently I put a CDR /divx disc in it and the disc didn't work! Further more the machine then refused to open the disc tray and the CDR was stuck inside ..the whole machine just crashed and has failed to work ever since! I had it for less than 2 months and so far Goodmans have failed to reply from their support team. Buy a better model!!!!!
