Reviewed by Trish Harewood on 17/09/2009 Have lost the manual and recording on the right station is impossible as can't tell what channel is being recorded. It doesn't give any indication or options.Obviously want to record one side and watch another. There should be a Help button as on computers. Anyone got a manual they clearly don't want. Contact trish.harewood@ntlworld.com Thanks Rating:
Reviewed by Jeremy L on 21/09/2008 I agree with others: timer is not dependable, it turns on and off during recording (a 60-minuute programme only recorded fragments adding up to 40-minutes!), the remote had to be returned as it died, on 'Play' the screen is lined and I have to unplug the aerial for a good picture. If I had known that this was the standard, I would have boought a different make/model. Rating:
Reviewed by Not happy on 05/09/2008 Tried numerous types of DVD's as most seem to fail to load or worse still, play/record for an hour then refuse to finalise. I've wasted hours on this piece of rubbish and wish I never had it. Rating:
Reviewed by Liz on 16/06/2008 I totally agree with all the reviews so far. It's a completely unreliabe machine which stops and restarts all the time during recording. Then it doesn't always switch off after recording. The clock has been known to 'freeze' and on one occasion I couldn't switch off at all except by unplugging. I've had mine for 3 weeks but I'm taking it back to the store for a refund. Rating:
Reviewed by Magnetman on 26/03/2008 the timer refuses to work on DVD or VHS, if you can get it to start recording it stops instantly and tries to re-start again and again. remote control is unbearable, I have poundland remotes of better quality! avoid at all costs Rating:
Reviewed by Benjamin Rahr on 17/01/2008 Rec timer is unreliable Rating:
Reviewed by Charlottein Weimar on 26/12/2007 Three out of three DVD+RW discs have failed after just one or two recordings. This is my first DVD recorder and as I need it to record and rerecord I am concerned at this faiure, The tape side is OK. Rating:
Reviewed by Jammer on 16/05/2007 Seams to crash a lot - just freezes on whatever screen its on when playing DVDs - which means you need to power off at the mains. A bit clunky when loading tapes or disks. Also noisy when changing dvd titles. Rating:
