Iam a professional photographer, and previously familiar using manual functions, this camera has alot more to offer. The NV8 has a built-in Face Recognition AF & AE feature that detects up to nine differen faces, enabling you to take perfect portraits of friends and family. In addition to automatically adjusting ocus and brightness to optimum levels, this feature also senses and removes red-eye. Fast ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and colour which is sometimes found in flash photography. With Fast ASR the effects of image blur are reduced in lower light conditions.You can even take well exposed, sharper pictures in low light conditions without using a flash at all, which guarantees brighter and more natural pictures. Navigating complicated menu systems is a thing of the past! The brilliant new Smart Touch user interface makes accessing menu functions and reviewing your images an absolute pleasure. This unique touch-ensitive system gives you easy, intuitive control over the camera, and the large 2.5" LCD gives you a reat view every time Compensate brightness of objects automatically even in harsh light environment like back-light scene or scene which has too different light contrast between object and background.
