The SP-320 offers a high specification camera within a compact body. The ergonomic grip make it easy to hold and operate. The Olympus SP-310 and Olympus SP-320 are basically identical except that the Olympus SP-320 features Digital Image Stabilisation to reduce image blur and the SP-310 doesn't. So if you can afford it you might as well go for the SP-320. Both cameras have a high resolution of 7.1 megapixels and 3x optical zoom. The digital zoom ratio is 5x and there is an optical viewfinder. The SP-310 functions in automatic and manual modes featuring Auto, Programme, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual Exposure. There are 25 scene programmes to choose from (Portrait, Landscape, Landscape and Portrait, Night Scene, Night & Portrait, Sports, Indoor, Candle, Self Portrait, Available Light Portrait, Sunset, Fireworks, Museum, Cuisine, Behind Glass, Documents, Auction, Shot & Select 1, Shot & Select 2, Beach, Snow, Underwater Wide 1, Underwater Wide 2, Underwater Macro and Digital Image Stabilisation). Movies are recorded at 30 frames per second with sound.

This camera has an outstanding quality for a digital camera. I've been working with this Olympus for 3 months now. I've won several prizes already! You couldn't believe just a simple digital camera could do such things ;)
