A great starter with outstanding images. Hard to beat for the price! Video a plus but 30 sec only. Buy a 128 SD card.

This camera is so cheap you can't go wrong. It is so easy to use and the results are fabulous. For beginners in digital photography I believe that the Kodak range are the best as they are just so simple even a real dummy can take good shots straight out of the box. Digital cameras are so much cheaper to run than old-fashioned film cameras, and there are lots of benefits like being able to delete ones that didn't work out and email pics to friends and family. I'm so pleased with my CX7300, and recommend it to all beginners. Experienced users might want something more advanced, but again I would recommend a Kodak.

I am quite happy with this camera! I love the way it has video capture and you can record some pretty good clips! The only problem is, to be able to take a reasonable amount of videos and pictures you need to buy an SD card which you don't get with the camera! Also, I've had some trouble with the software and being able to upload my pictures. All in all it's a good camera, the picture quality isn't brilliant but is better when on the computer, and the camera is reasonably sized.

Staten Island NY Loves this Kodak Camera!!!!, January 6, 2005 This is not my first digital camera. My first one is a Mavica 0.3 Mega pixel. This Kodak camera is small but powerfull. I was able to take it out of the box, pop in the 2 batteries that come in the box and push in a 256 mb SD card and off I went. I set the camera to 3 stars *** which means best quality and the screen told me I have 306 pics left to take...I don't know about you but that beats a roll of 36 exposure 35mm film anyday (and not to mention the 21 photos per floppy disc with the Mavica). The auto setting, controls all settings. I took about 40 shots so far, put the SD card into the SD reader in my computer, without installing the software from the Kodak box that came with the camera ( YOU MUST INSTALL THE SOFTWARE FIRST INTO YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE YOU ATTACH YOUR CAMERA TO YOUR COMPUTER VIA USB CABLE OR DOCKING SYSTEM...KODAK SAYS THIS 4 TIMES IN THE INSRUCTIONS).. and boom there they where, great, clear, crisp and colorfull shots. The indoor shots of things like flowers and people and a few cats where the bomb (that's good). The outdoor night shots looked like a painting...(thats good too)...OK NOW FOR SOME FACTS: YOU MUST GET THE FOLLOWING WHEN YOU BUY THIS CAMERA...RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES AND RECHARGER...I PCKED UP THE SONY BRAND FOR $19.00 AT AMAZON..KODAK DOES NOT WANT YOU TO USE AA ALKALINES...YOU MUST GET A CASE..$9.00 IN WALLMART OR KMART OR AMAZON...YOU MUST GET A 256MB SD CARD...DONT FOOL AROUND WITH ANYTHING LESS CAUSE YOU'LL LOVE HAVING MEMORY FOR 300 PHOTOS AT BEST QUALITY OR 1000 PHOTOS AT GOOD QUALITY...SD CARD 256MB AROUND $30 AT AMAZON OR WALLMART...EVEN COSTCO....OH ONE MORE THING I GOT FOR THE CAMERA WAS A NECK STRAP, THE WRIST STRAP THAT COMES IN THE BOX IS ...WELL A WRIST STRAP..THE NECK STRAP MUST HAVE THE LOOP AT THE BOTTOM TO ATTACH TO THE CAMERA...ABOUT $9.00 I GOT MINE ON eBAY.... In conclusion...buy this camera

I have had this camera for 3 months and I'm very happy with its performance. The only problem is that it dosen't have optical zoom and manual control. For its price it is an excellent product.

m really happy with the camera. I bought it because compared to other cameras it was relatively cheap and also had a video clip capture. Even though it's "only" 3.2 MP it gives me great home prints. My only complaint about it is that it does not have optical zoom, but its digital zoom is fine.

The Kodak CX7300 was so cheap it was a no-brain purchase for me. The Kodak brand name and 3 megapixels sold it. The camera is simple to use, especially if you have the Easyshare docking unit for charging the batteries and transferring pics. Compared to other 3 megapixel cameras, this one is a bargain.
