I bought this camera because of it's compact size and the large 9.2 mp capacity. Build quality is good and the buttons work very well. It does seem to be a little slippery in the hand and I have already dropped it twice but it was robust enough to show no damage at all which is encouraging. I have only owned it for 3 weeks so have not got used to all the functions yet but at the moment the jury is out on this camera because of the lack of information and guidance. The on screen info gives a small amount of advice but nowhere near enough. The included manual skimps over the features of the camera too much and there seems to be a lot more to the camera than is shown in the booklet. My Canon camera has a much more comprehensive informative booklet than the Kodak. The large screen is beautiful and clear but the flash output can't be adjusted like my old Canon and the quality of shots in low light with a flash are only average and even worse when you set the ISO to suit low light as the photos appear very grainy. The camera does not come with a case or an AV lead which was disappointing for such a large company but this does seem to be the norm from most manufacturers. The video recording quality is excellent but you can only hear the sound back when you download the clip to your PC which is a pain if you are away on holiday. I hope to master this camera over the coming weeks to give me a bit more confidence in it but at the moment I am still using my Canon camera as well which for 2.0 mp produces much clearer shots. With just a bit more thought Kodak could have made this into an absolute winner. I bought this camera from a large high street store for just under 60 quid which I can't complain about but it is not covered by the 30 day money back exchange (unless faulty)or else I probably would have exchanged it for another make.
