Kodak C300
Product Rating
The Kodak C300 is a new entry level camera which is fully compatible with Kodak's Easyshare camera docks and software. It offers 3.2 megapixels which is good for a basic camera, and 5x digital zoom. The camera has a handful of scene and colour modes and will also capture 30 seconds of video. The LCD (1.5") is not huge compared to other cameras on the market nowadays, but it still has a 2x and 4x magnify review option, multi-up feature and slide show available. Overall, a decent, entry level camera from a respected manufacturer. For similar features with a slightly higher pixel count compare this camera with the Kodak C310.
Features of the Kodak C300 include:
- 3.2 MP for amazing prints up to 11 × 14 in. (28 × 36 cm)
- 5X continuous digital zoom
- KODAK 37 mm (35 mm equivalent) lens
- Auto white balance
- Exclusive on-camera Share button
- Bright 1.5 in. (3.8 cm) color display

Reviewed by isabella on 08/11/2006 it is a good camera for its price...but i really would recommend getting a maybe $150 or $200 instead of this one. its good for messing around and not being serious about photography. but it only has 3.2 MP and no optical zoom. i have it now, but am getting another because it doesn't have optical zoom. when you crop on the computer it gets blurry. but since it came free with our computer, i really can't complain!!! lol and if you just use double A batteries, it only takes probably an hour and they're gone!!! so, if you get it, get a rechargeable lithium battery Rating:
Reviewed by lauren on 30/09/2006 well, i got this camera christmas, 2005 and it's worked fine, the pictures have come out great & being able to turn on/off the LCD screen was great. I've had a few problems with it though; Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain 1) it drains my batteries rather quickly 2) when you zoom, it pixelises really badly they're just a few. but now my camera wont even turn on. i left it over-night, changed to new batters..nothing works! it's just broken and i can't fix it and i've had it less than a year. it's good for the money but it's got a few problems that could do with sorting. Reviewed by l.fosberry on 29/04/2006 I bought the camera last year with the easyshare docker. I bought it on seeing my mums one. The camera is always clear when talking the pictures and is easy to use. It came with easy to read user guide all the leads to use for the computer and the disks so u can download your pictures on to the computer. I have rated the camera 5 stars because the easy to read guide and the software and all what you get when bought with the easyshare docking printer. I wouldn't go back to a 35mm camera now. Reviewed by alan on 25/03/2006 this camera is extremely neat, and easy to use taking pics with this camera is just a point and shoot away. the only problem is there is no camera case and more importantly no extra memory. at its best mode the pic qualitity is excellant even though its only 3.2 pix. for those wanting a good cheep camera for a holiday this is ideal. happy photo hunting. Reviewed by Shane on 13/07/2005 The camera was not all that it was hyped to be in the sense that holding it in your hand doesn't convey the feeling of quality perceived from the brand name. Photos taken with it tend to be prone to fading and the white balance isn't very white. Rating:
