Reviewed by David Grant on 28/12/2005 Had the s7000 for about 8 months now, very pleased with the image quality, very good quality with close ups, have never experienced pictures being grainy when blown up large, the battery life is very good if you get good quality rechargable batterys.
Easy to use, good alternative to a slr without the huge price tag, For the price of the camera and the features you get on it,you will be hard pushed to buy better, well chuffed with mine, cant fault it. Rating:
Reviewed by Alan Smart on 04/10/2004 I'm not sure where to begin, i've had my Fuji FinePix S7000 for a months now and i love it. It's 6.1Mp camera and all round i can't fault it. Overall image quality is very good, excelling on close-ups especially. Also compared to the 602 which i had this digital camera has a fantastic fast shutter speed. It comes with a host of manual features to help you be more creative in your photography. only fault is it didn't come with a battery charger/rechargeable batteries, but nor did the 602! so i still have those. I'd recommend this camera. Best i've seen or owned. Rating:
Reviewed by Lee on 02/09/2004 I have had the S7000 for about 6 months now, and I think that it is a near-perfect digital camera. It's a close substitute for an SLR. The best features of the camera are the 6x zoom lens, wide range of creative options, ease of use, good exposure under a range of conditions, good macro mode. The worst features are the battery life, and the fact that when you blow the pictures up you can see quite a lot of grain, when compared to other 6 megapixel cameras. There just seems to be more graininess than you would expect, even under optimum exposure conditions. For this reason, I can only give the camera 4 stars, as it just doesn't allow you to make really large prints or crop that closely. Rating:
Reviewed by steve on 18/01/2004 Had the S7000 for 2 months now ,I find the battery drain acceptable the EVF is very good probley beter than a TTL .Printing the pics at A4 faultless......If you can\'t be bothered to use the manual features just turn the dial to auto.....and click away.....As the camera looks good and feels good.... Hang it around your neck with pride ......I give it top marks.....But if your not sure go to a camera shop and have a play with the S7000 At around #500 you want to make sure its what your looking for....Thas what i did Rating:
Reviewed by Stuart on 05/12/2003 Just had this camera brought for me for Christmas, just had a 10 min play, before it was put away, but it\'s absolutly amazing. I\'m new to photography, but it\'s got so many features to my brother\'s digital SLR that cost #900. I will write more when I get the camera properly. Rating:
