Reviewed by Richard on 30/04/2009 Purchased this 100D in December as I had some Canon lenses from my EOS film SLR which will fit the current EOS digital and they would be £1,000 to replace. After five months of getting to know it and general playing all I can say is WOW. I've got two 4gb memory cards which can hold up to 800ish pictures each. The supplied battery can last for a month of me playing. If you want to move up to digital SLR teritory you will not go far wrong with this. The controls are very intuitive and easy to use. It has live view, but I never use it. The screen looks a lot bigger than it's 2.5 inches suggest. My mate has a 450D and we have yet to find anything that he can do that I cann't. The big advatage over my old compact is the auto focus which always works. Well impressed. Rating:
