My set up is a Music fidelity x80 amp and Cambridge azur £250 CD player Tannoy Mecury mrk3 floor standing speakers The Cambridge combination above was bass heavy I was contemplating going back to stand mount speakers. When I tried plugging in the Sony xe270 as a second CD player when i hit the play button I was truly amazed, This £91 CD player had our toes tapping my daughter and wife up dancing. Brought our system alive and to another dimension. This is a fabulous buy for the money. I prefer the sound than to the Cambridge. With this currant system.
