Hang on a minute.. dont rate a head unit badly because it got stolen or because you had to hack your cars wires to fit them into the standard harness connectors which fits most cars (that probably overloaded the screen!), or even if you bought an American version which doesn't work here! I got this about 2 years ago, it has been in 4 cars and is awesome! I've never had a problem and it's folded up and down a fair few times! Excellent sound, build quality you'd expect from Sony and it looks fantastic!

Dont be fooled by how good this unit looks because i was and a month later it was stolen out of my car due to the fact the faceplate doesn't come off leaving me having to folk out to have the door fixed and buy a new stereo again! Its a fab stereo but chances are you wont have it long i didn't!

My son bought a Sony CDXM8800 player from Cheap Dealz UK who advertise this product on this site ... the radio doesn't work because Cheap Dealz ship their incar Radio CD players from the USA and so it won't tune into any UK radio stations with an even digit in the wavelength eg: 95.8, 96.4, 100.00 etc. So beware because I don't believe Cheap Dealz have any intention of replacing the player. Apart from that its an excellent product ... even better if you live in the USA !

I have had this unit for two days. Whilst the features are good, the front display stopped working after one day. Having an MR2 with a balanced wiring system, I had to cut the ISO connector to fit the stereo, not a problem as an experienced automotive electrician, which voided the warranty. Thus a two day old stereo, with the main feature not working!!! Great Buy!!
