Completely agree with the comment below by Anonymous. I had exactly the same problem with my set. Apparently, they are the imported version and have to be re-wired to enable them to work normally. Once that is done, it works like any normal set but still a pain to have to sort all of that out.

I have just received my Clarion WXZ468RMP after buying this from Ebay. It looks nice and has a lot of features but after installing it in my car, I have found that when plugged in it stops me from locking up my car. And because of this I have had to remove the set each time I leave the car. I listened to music with it while having a drive, once I got home, I took the set out to find the back of it untouchable for heat, and actually witnessed steam coming off the metal plate. This is going back!

Hi I bought a car not more than 1 year old, which had this stereo installed, This was 1 off my options I was looking forward too, Because I like a nice full of gimmicks stereo , But I found out that this was all gimmicks because the display was completely out not lighting, so I contacted Clarion and explained the situation, I know that if you don't have a receipt You don't have a guarantee cover but every one knows that This model has not been out more than 2 years and Clarion told me that if I have a receipt it has 2 years Guarantee. I was expecting that Clarion being a big name and so proud of their products they would still accept it under guarantee cover, this type of product and fault is definitely not a mishandling of the product it is a manufactures defect the total display fails after lets say it has been over 1 year Purchased.
