Reviewed by Gerry on 29/06/2007 I have had this camcorder for about a year now, it is one of many as I have owned other cameras in the past, due the good quality cameras from sony i decided on another. For a very reasonable £160 I found myself a bargain. this is a great all round camera for begginers and middle end users. Has lots of features and simple to use. great package and cheap accessories. Reviewed by Graeme on 29-07-2005 I bought this camcorder about 3 weeks ago and have had lots of fun with it. The quality of the filming is excellent as is the sound. I have filmed in dark areas using the "nightshot" function and i have found it to be of good quality, although the built in LED light can be used in the dark it is not really necessary. The computer package that comes bundled with the camera allows for editing on the family pc and burning on to DVD. The film can also be copied straight on to VHS using the appropiate leads which are supplied.The battery life can be extended by purchasing a higher capacity battery, I purchased one off the internet for #26.00 ( about $50) and now I can record for about 4 hours non stop. All in all a good camcorder for the average person who wants a reasonably simple to use and functional piece of equipment. Rating:
