Reviewed by Anthony McGuinness on 28/01/2011 Now owned it for 3 years. Got a bigger (& better) battery. NOT from Samsung - much cheaper & better quality. Worked well for 3 years but disc door now refuses to open! Rating:
Reviewed by Kristian Bramwell on 07/04/2010 Very poor, same as all the rest really, battery lasts about 10 minutes and cant use the discs on the computer. I would not recommend at all. Rating:

Have tried quite a few different/new discs but still the same.AND AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUETS PLAYING VIDEO,Camcorder VERY HOT. DONT BUY, Rating:
Reviewed by Samsung on 22/04/2009 The battery life is 1 hour in my case, and I never lost nothing. Very easy to use, just finish the dvd and take it to PC. Rating:
Reviewed by tod thompson on 02/08/2008 the battery life is poor, however, this little camera does everything it should with excelent play back and sound. easy to use and an all round good quality camera. Rating:
Reviewed by Tom McEnaney on 01/07/2008 sick of re-chargeing battery, cannot transfer videos onto computer very fustrating, buy a better model if you can have to switch off to conserve energy and lost vauable scenes. to slow to react. Rating:
Reviewed by Peter on 27/05/2008 THE BAD NEWS: Known to have as many different faults as there are cameras.(My case the disc door pops open when it shouldn't) Battery life is barely 10 minutes.(Silly when the smallest disc you can use is 30 minutes). Can't down load to a computer like some models which would be handy.(Sometimes it won't finalise the disk so as to view it on a DVD player). THE GOOD NEWS: Easy to use. Quality of recording good. 33x zoom impressive. Designed to be idiot proof. My advice is give it to the kids as their first camcorder it's really about all it's good for. (Want to buy mine anyone?) Reviewed by Ralph on 23/03/2008 BUY A BIGGER BATTERY!!!!!!!!! THE QUALITY IS PERFECT Rating:
Reviewed by Anthony McGuinness on 30/01/2008 very poor battery life. when you go to standby all settings are lost and battery continues to run down. when turned off to save battery then turned on again it sometimes needs to re-write last thing videoed. this takes as long as the video was. ie videoing daughter playing football (15 mins each way) camera turned off at half time to conserve poor battery when turned on camera spends whole of2nd half rewriting first half. VERY DISAPPOINTED Rating:
Reviewed by COLLEEN SMITH on 10/11/2007 DONT BUY IT YOU WILL REGRET IT NO BATTERY LIFE, YOU LOSE ALL YOUR PICTURES AND SAMSUNG ADMIT TO A FAULT WITH THE CAMERA BUT WONT REPAIR IT WE BOUGHT 2 AND REGRET IT. Rating:
