Reviewed by Roelof on 18/06/2008 Excellent video quality, brilliant colours. Good sound quality: in windy areas the wind noise becomes annoying, even when using the option on the camera to reduce wind noise. Previously owned a JVC GZ-HD3, returned it because the i.link connection (firewire) did not work on all my pc's (3) and my Pioneer DVD Recorder. Got a JVC GZ-HD5 in stead for free (praise to JVC for good service) but firewire link still does not work on this camera. The HD3 had an electronic image stabilizing programme which was much less effective than the optical image stabilisation in the HD5! Rating:
