Reviewed by Jay on 16-08-2004 This camcorder can be good value for money if you are in the market for a budget cam. The D70 does take pretty good pictures, although they can be grainy sometimes. However, I found that there were quite a lot of things I didn't like, such as the fiddly buttons, which my fingers just couldn't get used to. In low light the image quality can be rather poor and grainy. Still photographs are also of poor quality. The 700x zoom is a joke and the 8 Mbyte memory card provided is too small. Features are quite basic, but then again it's a budget camcorder. I upgraded to the DV700 and found that to be a far superior cam. Rating:
