Reviewed by Bengt Garfors on 26/03/2006 I bought the camera aprox. one month ago.
The DC20 is very nice, shoots good and is fairly easy to handle. The still
picture functionality is OK - after all it is only a 2Mp camera. If you want "the works", ie also a good styill camera, you would need the DC40.
There is one major drawback that makesme downgrade from 5 to 1:
The after sales service. There is nothing wrong or broken. But the supplied SW "MyDVD for Canon" will not work. It installs, but it is impossible to register via Roxio7SOnics homepage. And: Canon refuses any support or responsibility. Roxio doesn't even answer. This is just so frustrating. The after service is really poor, and it shows the
responsibility Canon gives towards end users (=customers)
So - in my case: Never a Canon product again! I will stick to Sony in the
future.
Bo not buy this if you ever think you may need after sales support! Rating:
